SkyXplorer is provided by Saling Club LLC. This Privacy Policy describes information that may be processed when you use SkyXplorer and how that information is used.
SkyXplorer can use your device location when you grant permission. Location is used for location-dependent sky exploration, celestial object positioning, target guidance, and related features such as local observing conditions.
Location information may be transmitted to service providers when necessary to provide a requested feature, such as obtaining local weather or observing-condition information. SkyXplorer does not use location information to sell advertising profiles.
SkyXplorer includes optional speech-input features. If you choose to use them, the app requests microphone and speech-recognition permission. Speech recognition may involve services provided by Apple depending on the device and operating-system configuration. Transcribed text may be used to populate SkyXplorer input fields.
SkyXplorer uses pseudonymous, server-managed identifiers to maintain app functionality, account continuity, purchases, hunts, rankings, and security. The app may also process device- or app-attestation information and signed Apple app information to help establish that requests come from a legitimate copy of SkyXplorer.
SkyXplorer does not require a separate customer-facing email/password login simply to begin using the app.
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple using StoreKit. SkyXplorer may receive and process information necessary to verify and deliver purchases, such as product identifiers, transaction identifiers, subscription status, and an app account token used to associate an Apple transaction with a SkyXplorer account.
SkyXplorer does not receive your Apple payment-card number or other Apple payment credentials.
SkyXplorer allows users to create and participate in treasure hunts and related community experiences. Information associated with these features may include hunt titles, clues, creator or player display names, game activity, scores, rankings, and other content voluntarily entered into the app.
If content is reported, SkyXplorer may process the reported content, the reason for the report, related hunt information, pseudonymous account identifiers, moderation decisions, and audit information. This information is used to investigate abuse, moderate community content, notify affected creators where appropriate, and protect the service.
Some SkyXplorer features use artificial intelligence for functions such as clue generation and content moderation. Content needed for these functions may be sent from SkyXplorer's servers to an AI service provider, including OpenAI, for processing.
SkyXplorer does not use AI features as a mechanism for selling your personal information.
SkyXplorer and its service infrastructure may process operational information such as request timestamps, app version, build number, error information, transaction-validation results, security events, and similar diagnostic information needed to operate, protect, and debug the service.
SkyXplorer relies on service providers where necessary to operate the app. These may include Apple services, Amazon Web Services, OpenAI, and providers used for weather or observing-condition information. Information is provided to these services only as needed for the relevant SkyXplorer functionality.
Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide SkyXplorer, maintain account and purchase continuity, operate community features, investigate abuse, satisfy legal obligations, and protect the security and integrity of the service. Different types of records may have different retention periods.
Saling Club LLC does not sell personal information collected through SkyXplorer.
You can control permissions such as location, microphone, and speech recognition through iOS Settings. You can also choose not to use features that require those permissions.

If you use the SkyXplorer Support feedback form, the text you submit is transmitted to Saling Club LLC through SkyXplorer's service infrastructure and email provider. Feedback is used to provide support, investigate issues, and improve SkyXplorer. Please do not include sensitive personal information that is not necessary for your support request.
This policy may be updated as SkyXplorer changes. The effective date at the top of this page indicates the current version.
